I checked in just the other day to see this as a blue rough... dang you work fast. Thanks for the signed copy of criminal issue one (sorry I couldn't make it to P45 that night) much appreciated and it is now sitting in my viking long box.
Nice piece, Sean. Great handling of light.=s=
Awesome stuff man! I love your work and have just finished the "Sleeper" trades as of today (GREAT!!!). Out of curiosity, do you print out the blue line onto the comic book bristol sheet directly and then just ink over the blue or...? Also, not to pester with questions, but what are your main inking tools specifically?Well, whether or not you have time to answer these questions (and I understand if you don't! :) I'm loving your work!Cheers!Jim
A great page, indeed. Beautifull inks!
Jim, I print out the panel borders and dialogue and balloons, and on this page a photo of the plane interior, in blue onto the board. Then I 'pencil' with a blue magic marker. Inks are done mostly with a Faber Castell Pitt pen for outlines and a Pentel Colour Brush
Hey thanks SO much for the peek into your creative process and for taking the time to answer me! MUCH appreciated kind sir!!! :)Jim
